Pew: Younger Voters Headed to Polls

“The poll
finds indications that turnout will be significantly higher than in the
two previous presidential elections, especially among younger
people.”  Such an outcome would reverse a trend over the past
generation or so, which has seen a decline from 50% of young voters (18
– 24 year-olds) turning out in 1972 down to 33% in 2000.
