I attended this hearing today, and heard the testimony of many people against this bill. John, I appreciated you testimony, and believe your argument would serve well as a model for other detractors.
However, other testimonies were not so elequent. Many of us gathered afterward to exchange email and vowed to stay abreast of this issue, but I can’t help but think we should have organized beforehand.
So my question to you is this: what can we do locally, to organize the well-informed and well-intentioned among us, so we can present a unified front and a cohesive argument to comittees like this one today?
Again, I thank you for your work and hope we can all work together to bridge this gap between ‘geek’ and ‘law’ , in order to effect change.
