Jonathan Zittrain on Google

JZ this morning regarding Google’s power and responsibility in the New York Times: “They’re the traffic cop at the main intersection of the information society.  They have an awesome responsibility.”  Given how regulated some Net entities are — like cable companies, all manner of telecomms providers, ICANN — it’s remarkable how relatively unregulated Google and its would-be peers are.
