Jon Udell has posted his proposed topic for the Open Source Content Management conference next month: “All you need to know about content management, you learned in kindergarten.” If widescale adoption of Content Management systems is a goal, then I wonder if the term “Content Management” is might sound too complicated or techie for low-tech users or managers who have to make the decision to adopt one in a business or NGO or academic setting. Sounds like Jon Udell’s talk might well help us to think through the way to simplify and clarify the message.
